2. During summer vacations use your car as a taxi at railroad and boat terminals of country and seashore resorts to accommodate visitors arriving for a vacation stay.

3. Arrange with hotel clerks at summer hotels to take guests on sight seeing excursions. As an example, anyone spending a few weeks vacation in Maine or Vermont would want to visit the other points of interest.

4. Contact clerks at commercial hotels that cater to traveling salesmen. Often a salesman will want to cover the town with samples. You can act as chauffeur and also transport his samples. RENTING BOATS AND CANOES—If you are located on a lake that has a large summer colony, you can earn a year's income by renting boats and canoes by the season. The writer knows of a man who lives near one of the smaller lakes in Maine. He possesses twenty row boats and twenty canoes. By renting them to the summer guests at the various hotels and boarding houses at the rate of $3 a week or $20 for the entire season he earns enough money to live on the rest of the year.
