INTRODUCTORY NOTE
The 125 money-making plans presented in this book have
been collected by the author over a period of several years
from the personal reports of people who have successfully
tested them. As will be noted by the reader, the individuals
whose experiences are cited represent many parts of the
country—farming regions as well as large industrial centers,
small towns as well as great cities.
The profits accruing from each plan are given as reported
from practical experience. The person putting the plan to
work for himself may find that some adjustments are necessary.
It must be remembered that standards of pay vary
regionally and according to the size of the community. Current
changes in the cost of commodities and services affect
the cost of carrying through many of these projects and,
therefore, the prices that must be charged in order to insure
satisfactory profits.
In any case, the section on "Possible Profits" in each plan
constitutes a sound guide—one that can be followed with
no changes where the situation duplicates itself and one
that can be readily adjusted where a difference in circumstances
must be taken into account.
